Hey guys how’s it going? Weekly Check-in time where I was consuming a lot of media that I have forgotten about.
Because of this I watched an anime and two tv shows. I also read four volumes of manga and one volume of manhwa. I also read a picture book to my students. Onto the Media!!

Spy X Family
Hmmmm, I am glad I have succumbed to the hype of this series truly, but I do know that it has its pros and cons, and the way it ended made me very disappointed. It’s a definite gateway anime for someone (think Burn Notice but some childish tendencies). I like alot of the characters (even the side ones) I appreciate the creativity that the plot decides to turn and the twists that are tiny yet important. I am not a fan of Anya (she can be annoying at times) and some of the inner monologues were very annoying but also funny at the same time. Overall, though, it’s one I know I’d love to continue on with and binge (don’t think I can read or watch one episode at a time). Because of these points, I have to give this a 4 out of 5 stars or 4 sushi 🍣 🍣🍣🍣.

Record of Ragnarok
I’ll be honest I read this because it was available at the library. I certainly know there’s an audience for this, but I think I need to read more in order to have a well-informed opinion. However, as someone who loves history and twisting it, I enjoyed the background and the characters they’ve decided to represent. However, I think this will be more cruel and more dark undertones and less redemption than say the Fate/Stay Night franchises. So, with that, take it easy when it comes to consuming either this first volume or the anime. Overall, though, I am curious to see how this continues, but im not going to rush for the next volume. 3.5 out of 5 stars or 4 sushi 🍣🍣🍣🍣.

Yona of the Dawn Vol 21
This volume was a a wrap up of an arc and I still continue to enjoy this series. Highly recommend. 4 out of 5 stars or 4 sushi 🍣 🍣🍣🍣.
Miss Miyazen Would Love to Get Closer to You vol 2
This series still continues to be adorable and sweet and completely made me smile. This volume was very helpful for the backstory on the characters and how they decided to try to make friends with each other in the first place. I think my issue though with this particular volume was that the order of the chapters didn’t vibe with me with plot. Otherwise, it’s amazing and I highly recommend. 4.5 out of 5 stars or 4 sushi 🍣🍣🍣🍣.
Blue Lock vol 2
This series continues to be fascinating in a psychological way. And it was also intriguing because of how the teams work etc. However, I know the playing and artstyle is not one that everyone is going to enjoy. But I would have to say that, this series is also easy to follow and to consume when it comes to being able to read (because it’s not too dense and not too much exposition). Because of these points, I have to give this a 4 out of 5 stars or 4 sushi 🍣🍣🍣🍣.
Manhwa
What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim?
This is definitely one those manhwas that I think will be one if you love office romances this is for you. I think my only issue with this one per say was that it was a rough start for me. Other than that, I think the art is gorgeous and the plot is fun and intriguing. Because of these points, I have to give this a 3.5 out of 5 stars or 4 sushi 🍣🍣🍣🍣.

This picture book is perfect for my speech students. I love this book with this variety of vocabulary and art. The only issue I have is the rhyming. Because of these points, I have to give this a 4 out of 5 stars or 4 sushi 🍣🍣🍣🍣.

The Practice
I’ll be honest it took me awhile to get back into this series because of how much I watched a month ago. The new episodes that I watched turned dark and intense and because of this, I may have to take a break once again. I also am glad I am not a lawyer because all of it seems too fishy for my blood. Because of these points, I have to give this a 4 out of 5 stars or 4 sushi 🍣🍣🍣🍣.

These episodes are more turning out to be like the Grey’s anatomy episodes. more personal less about the actual cases. Because of these points, I have to give this a 4 out of 5 stars or 4 sushi 🍣🍣🍣🍣.
