Hey guys how’s it going? Weekly Check-in time where I was watching more than I was reading but I was also working a ton.
Because of this, I watched three TV shows and one Anime. I also read one manga and novella. Onto the media!!!
TV Show
Will Trent
I watched this two part premiere this week and I appreciate the dyslexic representation and the character dynamics, however I think this will be one that could be trying too hard to be like a more arrogant Monk and an on again off again relationship. Overall, I appreciate that there’s a new show out there but I think its going to be a miss from me. 3 out of 5 stars or 3 sushi 🍣 🍣 🍣.

My gosh these past few episodes were so emotional that they were hard to watch. The relationship shifts are also amazing right now. Because of these points, I have to give this a 4 out of 5 stars or 4 sushi 🍣🍣🍣🍣.
The Practice
My dad had watched quite a few episodes ahead of me while I was at work, so I watched the gaps. I appreciate the explanation of how the system works and the various cases that are presented. However, I think with these set of episodes, there was a lot of morally grey aspects that made me feel for the characters but of course others made me uncomfortable especially for the time this was airing. Because of these points, I have to give this a 4 out of 5 stars or 4 sushi 🍣🍣🍣🍣.

One Piece
I have just reached the Wano arc, and I am living for it!!! I will be honest; I think I really wanted to watch One Piece last year because of the animations I saw of the Wano arc, and I was enthralled by it. Now that I have gotten to that point, I am very invested, I love the world and I am excited for more to come. My only issue though with this arc so far (other than FUNimation being weird with the dub) was that some of the fights have been too long. Because of these points, I have to give it a 4.5 out of 5 stars or 5 sushi 🍣🍣🍣🍣🍣.

Having an Idol-Loving Boyfriend is the Best
If I had to combine two different manga that I would personally use to describe this would be My Girlfriend is a Geek (except the leading lady is much nicer) and Wotakoi because of fan references and the slow burn romance. I truly enjoyed this because of the fan culture, the great character dynamics and the adventures that the characters go on. I also appreciated the unique artstyle as well. Because of these points, I have to give this a 4 out of 5 stars or 4 sushi 🍣 🍣 🍣🍣.
Novella
Snowed in with the Billionaire
As someone who has recently had some difficulty reading, this was definitely something that I needed to read. If you are looking for a Christmas novella romance with two protagonists having vastly different family life and a small fame trope with some witty banter this is for you. Content warning for verbal abuse and virginal sex. My only issue with this one is that I was not a fan of how the perspectives shifted with the characters as far as writing. Because of these points, I have to give this a 4 out of 5 stars or 4 sushi 🍣🍣🍣🍣.
The Week Ahead
