Because of this, I watched a movie and two tv shows. I also read a novel, a volume of manga, a picture book, and a comic. Onto the media!
Anime Movie
Quintessential Quintuplets Movie
I will give a caveat with this movie that its essentially the third/last part of this series so please watch the anime episodes first! After the last season, I was worried that the anime was going to deviate from the source material. However, they did not, and it was so good!! There was a ton of character development, romance, and hilarious lines for the win. I think the only issue for me, and it was minor was that it was moving a little slow towards the end. Because of these points, I have to give this a 4 out of 5 stars or 4 sushi 🍣🍣🍣🍣.

The Practice
Oh another Lawyer show??? Don’t mind if I do. I think my dad is truly just reliving some of the shows he liked when I was young, I remember the opening music and maybe some of the main actors but thats it. I like in this particular show though, the explanation on procedure depending on the case and the watcher actually get the opportunity to see the sequential steps in some aspects. The only issue I had was that, it just felt like to me that I was just dropped into the story in the middle of something with no background anything. Because of these points, I have to give this a 4 out of 5 stars or 4 sushi 🍣 🍣 🍣🍣

The Holiday Switch
This is a book that I loved because of the atmosphere, the romance, but also the internal conflict of trying to navigate their career path. Its bookish in the sense of the leading lady is a book blogger and their goal is to read and review holiday reads. I loved how detailed the reviews are although sometimes I just wanted things to move forward. I also wanted more from the friendship aspect of the characters and wanted more depth in the background at times. Overall though, I am excited to read more from this author and I highly recommend this if you’re looking for a holiday read. Because of these points, I have to give this a 4 out of 5 stars or 4 sushi 🍣 🍣 🍣🍣.

Series Continuations
Cheeky Brat
I am still continuing to enjoy this series. Upon reading it, it is reminding me of Maidsama but with Kurokos Basketball angst. I think my only issue with this volume in particular is that I had difficulty with reading some of the bubbles thinking its one person but its another. I am excited to continue on but I honestly am not sure where its going except to finish the basketball season. Because of these points, I have to give this a 4 out of 5 stars or 4 sushi 🍣 🍣 🍣🍣.
Comic
Teen Titans:Raven
I honestly really loved how this plot was built. I also appreciated the diversity of magic that was presented as well. I think my only issue with it is that I felt the ending was very lackluster plus one of the characters looked too similar to Beast Boy. Because of these points, I have to give this a solid 4 out of 5 stars or 4 sushi🍣🍣🍣🍣 and I am excited to continue on.
Picture Book
Holly Holiday and the Christmas Forest
I read this several times with my speech students for the Christmas season and for me personally, I believe it was perfect for them. The plot was simple, the artstyle is beautiful to see and understand what is happening, and there was only one vocabulary word that I taught the students and that was it. There’s also an added cookie recipe and a sequence page to show how to plant a tree that was perfect for my students who need to create step by step directions. Overall, if you’re looking for a different picture book for the holidays, I would highly recommend this one 4.5 out of 5 stars or 5 sushi 🍣🍣🍣🍣🍣.
The Week Ahead
For the week ahead, the holidays will be in full swing, so I don’t know how I will be consuming in the future.
