Hey guys how’s it going? Weekly Check-in time!!! This week I was preparing for my new job but also sorting out my new kindle tablet so again no reading happened this week.
Because of this I watched two anime and two tv shows. I also listened to two podcasts. Onto the Media!!!
Anime
Devil is a Part-Timer
After 10 years, Devil is a part-timer got a second season and since I loved the English dub I had to wait until that came for me to watch it and of course I watched it this week!! Other than the drastic animation change (it happens sometimes), I realized how much that I forgot about the first season but also how seamless the two seasons timeline wise. I love the humor and much it has improved since the first season. However, I think if you’re a romance person, you may be apprehensive of this anime in general because although they are having more romance in this season that is not the whole story. Overall, I am so excited to continue watching this series. Because of these points, I have to give this a 4 out of 5 stars or 4 sushi 🍣🍣🍣🍣
One Piece
I unexpectedly found out that the English dub of more One Piece and ooof this made me had a ton of emotions both happy, sad, and a little frightened at the same time. As far as a series similar to Fairy Tail, it’s very close to that but with more solo arcs in my personal opinion. As far as becoming one of my favorite series hmmmm Jury is still out but so far, it’s up there. Highly recommend if you haven’t tried it already. 4 out of 5 stars or 4 sushi 🍣🍣🍣🍣.

Zoey 101
I think this week was a bit about nostalgia because I wanted to start and binge part of this series again. I really enjoyed it because I could just put it on while I was organizing my room and not have to worry about missing a plot point or that it wasn’t so dumb that I felt like I lost brain cells while watching it (I am sorry some of the newer Disney Channel shows make me feel like this). My only issue with this show is that there are some plot points in it that seem too good to be true but also a sense of entitlement along with them (especially since in the time of creation this didn’t happen). Because of these points, I have to give this show a 4 out of 5 stars or 4 sushi 🍣🍣🍣🍣.
ER
This week’s set of episodes from ER I think show the more negative aspects of how doctors and nurses feel about changes in bureaucracy plus the stuff outside of treating patients. I appreciate it. However, there are some aspects that I got very annoyed with it, but I am excited to continue on with the show. Because of these points, I have to give this a 4 out of 5 stars or 4 sushi 🍣🍣🍣🍣.
The Good Witch
Ahh my parents sucked me in this show again!! Thankfully this week there was a lot more drama and less platitudes as well as more magic. Because of these points, I have to give this a 4 out of 5 stars or 4 sushi 🍣🍣🍣🍣.

A Very Bookish Podcast
You guys you know I am not one of those people that likes nor wants to post negatively about something, but unfortunately, I have to do that with some aspects of this podcast. At first, I liked listening to this podcast because it felt like just two girls just chatting with some authors on occasion. However, this week, one of the podcasters irks me so much with her phrases of entitlement and braggart personality with their connections and view counts. I’ll be honest, I am mainly listening to the podcast for the other podcaster and the authors they interview because they have fantastic romance authors. I also appreciate the other podcaster’s creativity with their Etsy shop as well. Because of these points, I have to give this podcast a 3 out of 5 stars or 3 sushi 🍣🍣🍣.

Now this podcast I appreciate its genuine personality and straightforward information as well as opinions. I also appreciate the underrated recommendations he has as well. Because of these points, I have to give this a 4 out of 5 stars or 4 sushi 🍣🍣🍣🍣.
The Week Ahead
