I watched one anime movie, one anime show, two tv shows and listened to a podcast! Onto the media!!!
Anime Movie
One Piece: Gold
This movie was better than I thought it would be. There was emotion, extra history, and also a ton of One Piece shenanigans as usual. If you want to know where in this series this movie goes, it goes between the Dressrosa arc and the Whole Cake arc. This is because there are a ton of references to the Dressrosa arc and before especially Enies Lobby. I think my only issue and this is a minor nitpick that I have with the English dub is that one of my favorite characters had a dub change for this movie and it sounded so wrong to me :/. Other than that though, I really enjoyed my movie experience and am excited to watch more of One Piece 4 out of 5 stars or 4 sushi 🍣 🍣 🍣🍣.

Sk8 the Infinity
I can definitely see why a ton of people love this series and the character dynamics. They are to me very fantastic. However, there were moments when I did not understand why there was a detective in the story it just seemed like a tertiary plot device to make the villain worse than he is (which he really was already). I also enjoyed learning a ton about skateboarding and how they can be made plus snowboarding as well. The main two characters were also awesome and not what I expected to watch. Because of these points, I have to give this a 4.5 out of 5 stars or 5 sushi 🍣 🍣🍣🍣🍣.

This show definitely pulls its hospital punches and drama for sure. I appreciate that the show explains a lot about the some of the procedures of how being a med student works, how a resident works, how an attending works, physician’s assistants, and nurses. I also appreciated the ethics aspect that was presented. I think my only issue with it right now is that there are certain plot points that I just skim past as I watch and some of the other plot points are not flushed out yet. Because of these points, I have to give this a 4 out of 5 stars or 4 sushi 🍣🍣🍣🍣.
The Good Witch
Ugh ok there is a reason why I haven’t discussed that I watch this show. I am going up and down with this series especially since I watch like one episode with my family every few weeks. These two weeks we watched a ton and honestly, I am burnt out of the platitudes and the happy-go-luckiness and the lack of magic!! The magic is of suggestion not actual spells and the history and mysteries are meh. If you are in the mood for the kind of thing or of Hallmark stuff in general, I do recommend it, However, it’s not a binge for me I have learned. Because of these points, I have to give this a 3.5 out of 5 stars or 4 sushi 🍣🍣🍣🍣.

Dad Needs to Talk
I always enjoy listening to this podcast because of how realistic Rob speaks about his life and convention experience. With me personally these weeks, I was glad Rob posted about his Dream Con convention experience because it helped me to prepare and be excited for the convention I was attending. I also appreciate that he discusses a variety of anime and manga because I like trying new things. Overall, I enjoyed my podcast experience and am excited for more from him.
The Week Ahead
The week ahead is going to have a ton of changes for the months going forward. Because of that, my media consumption is going to be very sporadic and different. What about you guys? What did you read, listen, or watch these last couple of weeks? Let’s talk about it!!
