Hey guys how’s it going? Weekly Check-in time! This week was a ton of watching with mindlessness due to some heartbreaking news.
Because of this, I watched four movies, one TV show, listened to one podcast and read one manga. Onto the Media!!
Movie Rewatch
Bandslam
This is still my favorite movie of all time, however upon this rewatch, I realized the stuttering representation is not the best. Because of these points, I have to give this a 4 out of 5 stars or 4 sushi 🍣 🍣 🍣🍣.
Movie
Field of Dreams
So for me, this movie is one I watched once on commercial television and it was too slow for me to continue. This time, I watched with the family and it was a bit better than my first watch but also some of it was too good to be true?? Not the ballplayers but some of the other characters. I digress. Overall, I loved this very much but I only recommend this to adults. 3.5 out of 5 stars or 4 sushi 🍣🍣🍣🍣.
Elvis
This was a fantastic depth full bio pic. I loved the parallels between Elvis and the Colonel and the fact that most of the time, it felt very realistic and immersive all at once. I also loved how I learned a ton more about Elvis than I ever knew before especially the dark parts. The only nitpick I had is that there were two songs that were inserted into the soundtrack that just felt too modern for what the time period was. Because of these points, I have to give this a 4.5 out of 5 stars or 4 sushi 🍣 🍣 🍣🍣.
Anime Movie
Fruits Basket:Prelude
So I will be honest, this movie was powerful like the rest of the show, However, you have to watch all the rest of the show in order to watch it because there are a ton of recap moments. Now I don’t mind recaps to an extent, however if its half the movie, I hate it. Because of these points, I have to give this movie a 3.5 out of 5 stars or 3 sushi 🍣🍣🍣.
TV Show

This show continues to surprise me with the variety of cases that are presented and how the staff operate. However, I think there needs to be some moments that are more expanded upon and others that need to be nipped in the bud now. Overall, though, I am excited to continue this show and enjoy it very much. Because of these points, I have to give this a 4 out of 5 stars or 4 sushi 🍣🍣🍣🍣.

Mr.Bride
This is a manga series I wasn’t sure how to react to. However, it is a lot of fun and teaches you a ton about housework. I think my only issue that I had is that some of the humor is at times lame, but otherwise I enjoyed my time and am excited to continue on. Because of these points, I have to give this a 4 out of 5 stars or 4 sushi 🍣 🍣 🍣🍣.

Dad needs to talk
This podcast is truly one I enjoy because of how Rob explains the latest media he consumes plus this past week I listened to his anime convention panel about networking, and I learned so much. Overall, I am going to continue to listen this podcast for a long time and I highly recommend it. 5 out of 5 stars or 5 sushi 🍣🍣🍣🍣🍣.
The Week Ahead
