Hey guys how’s it going? Weekly Check-in Time! This week, I started my summer job and prepared for other summer activities.

Because of this, I read two novellas, watched two movies and one TV show. Onto the Media!
Novella
Big Boss

When it comes to novellas like this, I recommend them if someone wants something sexy and a fast read. However, I recommend Cassie Mint in particular (at least so far) because there’s more depth than ones I have read so far. Big Boss is a prime example because both main characters have had three years at least to establish a crush on each other and they knew the consequences if they did. I loved how they handled that plus I love the worshipping hero its one of my favorites. Because of these points, I have to give this a 4.5 out of 5 stars or 5 sushi π£ π£ π£π£π£. P.s this would also be a good winter novella too.
Life’s a Beach

This is a novella that I strictly picked out because of the cover. However, it has depth and a worshipping hero that I was totally not expecting. There’s a lot of beautiful quotes plus some sexy scenes and found family. I wanted some aspects to be flushed out however, its still a beautiful story and if you’re interested in a summer plus sized read, check this out. Because of these points, I have to give this a 4 out of 5 stars or 4 sushi π£ π£ π£π£.
Movie
Forsaken

This movie is one of those that is a pretty straightforward western. However, in this particular story, it presents someone that just wanted to live alone after the American Civil War (that was at least my thought of the history) and a tragic accident changed his entire reputation. It was a sad movie, but the actors did a good job. Because of these points, I have to give this a 4 out of 5 stars or 4 sushi π£π£π£π£.
Lightyear

This movie was definitely a ton of fun, but it also has a ton more depth than what I was expecting. If you enjoy the Interstellar movie but needed it to be more family friendly, check this movie out. Also, it is not related to the Toy Story franchise (there are some nods to it that people who are old enough to know but they’re not obvious). My friend and I think that this movie has been a long time in the making but the inclusion items that were added to make it better were a fantastic addition. The animation and world building were also amazing so I would highly recommend this movie if you were hesitant. Because of these points, I have to give this a 4-4.5 out of 5 stars or 5 sushi π£π£π£π£π£.
TV Show
ER

This series is one I have wanted to watch for years because as I grew up, I saw snippets of it, and it made me intrigued by the hospital setting. I also liked that it starts out as a full ensemble rather than all starting as interns. However, starting from the very beginning, it was jarring some of the dated aspects plus some of the significant others of the doctors are sooooo annoying and selfishπ. Overall, though, I am curious to see what happens next, and I am excited to watch it with my family. Because of these points, I have to give this a 4 out of 5 stars or 4 sushi π£π£π£π£
The Week Ahead
The week ahead, I know for sure I will be watching something new, but I am probably going to do some random reading like I have been reading. What about you guys? What are you guys reading and watching? Let’s talk about it!!
