Hey guys how’s it going? Weekly Check-in time! I decided to try some new things but also catch up on others.
Because of this, I watched two animes, two movies, one miniseries, and one TV show. I listened to a podcast and read a manga. Onto the media!!!
Movie
Hotel Transylvania:Transformania
This movie series is one that I have watched over the years that definitely has a ton of humor, paranormal feels, and how to understand that change can be a good thing. I am sure there’s more to it than that, but this particular installment of this series mainly discusses changing to satisfy someone else and how looking on the bright side of things can make life better. I understand that at least two voice actors were changed, and I didn’t notice at first, but I think that if you didn’t know that ahead of time, you will not notice. Overall, this movie was a lot of fun and if you love this series, I highly recommend it! 4 out of 5 stars or 4 sushi 🍣🍣🍣🍣.
Secrets of Dumbledore
This movie was fantastic!!! I was worried going into this movie that it was going to be huge disappointment. I loved the action, the twists and turns, and the new Hogwarts history that was presented. I am curious to see what is presented next but it is something that I feel ended well but also could be expanded upon. Because of this, I have to give this movie a 4 out of 5 stars or 4 sushi 🍣🍣🍣🍣.

Dad Needs to Talk
These last couple of weeks, I am enjoying listening to this podcast. Listening to how many different kinds of media that the host consumes plus he brings guests in who truly know what they’re talking about. Miniseries
North and South
This series is continuing to be interesting especially when it comes to the events prior to the Civil War, however these last few episodes that the family and I have watched, some of the acting is so cheesy it’s ridiculous. that could be because of the age though, not because of the content of the miniseries. Because of this, I have to give this a 4.5 out of 5 stars or 5 sushi 🍣🍣🍣🍣🍣🍣.
Anime
Zombieland Saga
The way this anime left was just whoa. But I really enjoyed the music and the characters in this anime. I am excited to see what happens next. Is this my favorite idol anime?? I am not sure yet but I am obsessed nonetheless. 5 out of 5 stars or 5 sushi 🍣🍣🍣🍣🍣. If you haven’t checked out this series already and you like supernatural as well as music media, I say do it!!
Black Clover
Now this! ok one of my friends has been begging me to try this anime and I am really glad I did. Essentially to me, this fantasy world is intriguing with its system of magic plus the characters are a lot of fun. I like the aspect of trying very hard and persevering for your dream but also that there are a lot of different puzzle pieces to unravel. If you are looking for something to try that’s fantasy based that feels like My Hero Academia mixed with Fairy Tail check it out. 4 out of 5 stars or 4 sushi 🍣🍣🍣🍣.

For Rent
This is one of those shows that was randomly playing in a waiting room I was in recently and I learned a lot from it on how to utilize a small space to the fullest, but also on what to look for and do for renting the best apartment you can. I think my only issue was I needed more varying locations. Because of this, I have to give this a 4 out of 5 stars or 4 sushi 🍣🍣🍣🍣.

When Will Ayumu Make His Move
This is a combination of the anime Chihayafuru and the manga Our Precious Conversations with a 4koma panel style. Because of the style, it can seem to be too episodic at times so if that bothers you, do not read this. Otherwise if you love high school characters falling in love one being very stoic and one being more bubbly check it out. Definitely perfect for fans of Monthly Girls Nozaki-kun. Overall, this is a fantastic manga series to start and I have to give this volume a 4-4.5 out of 5 stars or 5 sushi 🍣 🍣 🍣🍣🍣
