Because of that, I only watched media not read really. I watched 2 TV shows and 2 anime. Onto the media!!!
TV Show
Julia
This is a really intriguing show that truly surprised me. If you are a frequent reader of this blog, you would know that I am a fan of the Julie Julia movie. This show definitely goes deeper than the movie did but also it explains the steps that it took to create the first cooking shows in the early 60s-late 50s. I am curious to see how things will continue on and if the Julie Julia movie will clash with this show, that would be even better. Overall, if you are a Julia Child fan, please watch this and even if you aren’t, if you love shows like Ms. Maisel and the Crown, check this out! 5 out of 5 stars or 5 sushi 🍣🍣🍣🍣🍣.
The Good Place
This TV show was one that got me through some moments in college and taught me a lot about people and an intriguing perspective on the afterlife especially the implementation of philosophy and ethics. These two weeks I finally watched the last season on this show and I looooved how it ended with the characters, humor, and romance. Overall, though, if you are sleeping on this series watch it! 5 out of 5 stars or 5 sushi 🍣🍣🍣🍣🍣

That Time I got Reincarnated as a Slime
I will be honest, I haven’t watched this show in a long time, so I actually needed the recap episode at the first of the season haha. I had forgotten how intricate this world was and how many characters that are presented. I think my only issue is some of the characters that are talked about in passing I need to think more about who’s who. The plot is also complicated as well than it used to be so as long as I have the time to watch it. Because of these points, I have to give this a 4 out of 5 stars or 4 sushi 🍣 🍣🍣🍣.
One Piece
Well this month’s One Piece episodes brought a lot of depth to a few characters and timeline/ history about others. There are also a lot of cutesy mixed with demented animation so it may be too scary for young ones. Overall, it was a lot of fun and I am excited to continue on. Because of these points, I have to give it a 4 out of 5 stars or 4 sushi 🍣🍣🍣🍣.
The Week Ahead
