Hey guys how’s it going? This week I have had to do a lot of work at my job.

However, somehow I managed to watch two shows, two movies, and two novels. Onto the Media!
TV Series
Big Hero 6 the series

This show definitely is going to turn into a comfort show for me. When I watched Big Hero 6 when it first came out, I loved the STEM, superhero, friendship, and humorous aspects of it. The show expands upon them although it is a little more dumbed down for children which is necessary. Overall though, I love this show and will be sad once I finish all that is currently out because of these points, I have to give it a 4-4.5 out of 5 stars or 5 sushi 🍣🍣🍣🍣🍣
Anime
The Quintessential Quintuplets

I watched all that is currently out of this anime and wow haha! I am glad that I watched this because it gave me the right amount of humor, drama, mystery, and sisterly love. Keep in mind though, there is a lot of bullying as well as more nudity than expected so I don’t expect this to be for everyone. Overall though, its a lot of fun and I am excited to continue it. Because of these points, I have to give this anime a 4 out of 5 stars or 4 sushi 🍣🍣🍣🍣.
Anime Movie
Demon Slayer: Mugen Train

I am grateful for the opportunity to be able to watch this movie the first day it was available in the theater. I do have to say at the start, there is a lot of body horror, blood, and suicidal moments that occur in this movie so if that is not something that you can handle, just skip this movie and move onto season 2 of the show. When it comes to the movie itself, the first half felt like an extended episode of the 1st season with backstories of some characters and overall demon slaying “fun”. The second half though, whew! was an intense battle that felt like the catalyst to the 2nd season and really gave to the character development of the two of the main demon slayers. Overall though, this is very good anime movie on continuing a series and although I would have changed one of the aspects of the first half, I am very glad that I watched this. 4 out of 5 stars or 4 sushi 🍣🍣🍣🍣.
Movie Rewatch

Watching this movie again was great in the sense of I forgot a certain incidental plot point and it still was interesting however, its more for someone who enjoys thrillers and mysteries rather than someone who loves romance only because it seems very confusing and a whats the point of this incidental aspect because of AB or C.
Other than that, this movie was too slow on the plot we were starting to lose interest towards the end and too many confusing points. Because of these points, I have to give this movie I have to give this a 3.5 out of 5 stars or 3 sushi 🍣 🍣🍣.
Novel
Josh and Hazel’s Guide to Not Dating

I picked this book out of all the titles because of the “quirky” main female character and um I liked it but I didn’t like it and this is why:
I liked the characters although a few seemed a bit too flat (may have been intentional I am not sure)
The plot was good but also felt too long especially adding a surprise even more than before.
Overall, I thought it was fantastic getting a chance to get to know both of the characters and it was an adorable story. 3.5 out of 5 stars or 3 sushi 🍣🍣🍣.
Radha and Jai’s Recipe for Romance

I’ll be honest, there’s a lot to unpack in this book. Because of that, there are trigger warnings for panic attacks, post traumatic stress disorder, stroke, anxiety, verbal abuse, rehabilitation and miscommunication. Yes there’s a lot in this book that can be tough, but there’s also so many positive aspects that I learned in this book especially about Indian foods, dances, and social customs.
This also is a great book for teenagers especially with ones that are trying to figure out what to do for their adult lives and deciding whether to follow your dreams or help their family. Overall, it was a profound story and I am curious to see more what this author presents next. Because of these points, I have to give this book a 4 out of 5 stars or 4 sushi 🍣 🍣 🍣🍣. This comes out in July so please check this out if you’re interested.
The Week Ahead
Next week I am just going to go with the flow. Because of that, I have no plans for next week. What about you guys? What did you read or watch this week? Let’s talk about it!
