Hey guys how’s it going? Weekly Check in time!!!! This was a week that I was very unexpectedly slumpy when it came to my media consumption.

However, I watched three anime, one manga, one comic collection, and one novel! Onto the media!
Anime
Zombie Land Saga

This anime was actually a lot more fun and interesting than I thought it would be. I also recommended this to my boyfriend for something to watch but upon watching it, I have to say yes but no because there are a ton more things that were more girl driven than unisex.
However, I enjoyed so much of this anime with the variety of characters, the music, the humor, and the plot (although frankly I wish there was more to it than what was happening plus the end with the double amnesia plot-lines mehh??? Anyway, overall, I enjoyed this anime and I am excited for the next season coming up. Because of these points, I have to give this anime a 3.5 out of 5 stars or 4 sushi 🍣 🍣 🍣🍣.
My Hero Academia

This week I caught up with what is available on My Hero Academia and since Shoto is my favorite male character in this series, I am very curious to see how his and other characters’ story arcs are going to continue on. I enjoyed that there are some more twists and turns that I am not sure what is going to happen (although I may need to accumulate more episodes before I continue watching watch week to week may be too difficult for me). Overall, I am truly enjoying this series and am excited to see what’s going to happen next. 4 out of 5 stars or 4 sushi🍣🍣🍣🍣.
The Way of the Househusband

Ok, if you guys have read this blog for a bit, I have looked forward to see this anime to see the translation from the manga and it was enjoyable but at the same time I had some minor complaints. First, I loved the characters and the humor like with the manga etc. Second, I loved yet hated that there was only 5 episodes!!! I understand that it was because there were a ton of mini episodes however, I wanted more!!!! Besides that, I also had some minor nitpicks with the music wasn’t my favorite and the animation felt although perfect for more accessibility towards western audiences/new anime watchers, it to me felt even more choppy than the manga did like robots moving etc. Overall though, its definitely a fun ride and perfect to watch for a laugh in a day. 4 out of 5 stars or 4 sushi 🍣🍣🍣🍣.
Manga
Series Starters
Those Snow White Notes

This volume gave me a combination of Your Lie in April, NANA, and Beck Mongolian Chop Squad vibes but with a unique twist on them both? Trigger warnings for grief, violence, and language. I love the art in this manga especially when it came to the sound of the music along with the settings. I also enjoyed the story for what it was so far, however, I am not sure where it is going to go? It could go very profound or meh. I did hear this is also becoming an anime so that may transfer better for me but I do not know for sure. Overall though, I think I want to take this series one volume at a time. Because of these points, I have to give this a 3.5 out of 5 stars or 3 sushi 🍣🍣🍣.
Comic Collection
Little Moments of Love

So I read this on a day when I was feeling pretty down, and it definitely picked me up. There’s a ton of little comics that if you’re looking for something that discusses a longterm relationship between two people (that are introverts at times) check this out. Like I said in my previous review of the newest collection, you can read this all at once but also a little at a time if you just need a quick pick me up. My only issue I had with this one was that I wish that some of them had more titles because I wasn’t sure if some comics were together or separate or what. Because of these points, I have to give this a 4 out of 5 stars or sushi 🍣 🍣🍣🍣. I am excited to read more from this author.
Novel
Just the Two of Us Book 2

The conclusion to this story was very awesome and sweet but dramatic all at the same time. Again, like its predecessor, it has the feels of a drama but at the same time fulfilling. Trigger warnings for abuse, rape, blunt language, death, surgery, and familial distress due to pediatric disease . Definitely a slow-burn on every aspect of this book including character development but I feel that this book went a little faster than its predecessor. I think my only issue with this again was the writing and a little too long for me personally. However, if you enjoy K-Dramas, I think you should at least give this duology/duet a try. 4.5 out of 5 stars or 4 sushi 🍣🍣🍣🍣.
The Week Ahead
For the week ahead, I am hoping that I get out of this slump! I mean I am loving the amount of anime I watched but I want to expand some more. What about you guys? What did you read or watch this week? Lets talk about it!
