Hey guys how’s it going? With the week before Valentine’s day, I was in the mood for Romance

I watched one movie, read three volumes of manga, and one novel. Onto the media!!
Movie
The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel

This was a movie I was always curious about but never watched until now.
This is a movie that left me with a ton of emotions. But my parents also enjoyed it as well.
It also shows the pros as well as cons of India living and finding yourself in a new place. My only issue with that was that with some of the storylines should have gone deeper and more background on some of the characters.
Overall, I really enjoyed this movie and will try to watch the sequel soon. Because of these points I have to give this a 3.5 out of 5 stars or 4 sushi 🍣 🍣🍣🍣.
Manga
Series Starters
Those Not So Sweet Boys

This is a manga author that is the same as love in focus that I have read and it has the same feel of that series but it also gives me Waiting for Spring vibes at the same time only less happy-go-lucky if that makes sense. I think this is definitely worth the read. Trigger warnings though for prejudice, smoking, attempts at rape, and bullying. Because of these points, I have to give this manga a 4 out of 5 stars or 4 sushi 🍣🍣🍣🍣. This comes out on the 16th of February so check it out if you’re interested.
A Tropical Fish Yearns for Snow

I wasn’t sure what to expect when it comes to this manga.
This is a cute Yuri manga that takes place with two girls in the aquarium club. I think reading this manga has shown to me how much I enjoy soft stories about people learning about something new and moving to a new place. Also I appreciate the pacing that goes into the relationships and how happy-go-lucky it is. The only issue I had was that there was some miscommunication involved and there was a big space cadet…. Because of these points, I have to give this a 4 out of 5 stars or 4 sushi 🍣 🍣 🍣🍣.
Fire In His Fingertips

This is an Explict Smutty Manga 18+ only… This is something that if you love smut and are not afraid of nudity at all, check it out.
Other than that, there isn’t enough plot for me and there was too many sex scenes for me personally. However, I love the characters and the festival scenes redeemed this for me. Because of these points, I have to give this a 3 out of 5 stars or 3 sushi 🍣 🍣🍣.
Novel
Act Your Age, Eve Brown

This Book! THIS BOOK!! haha sorry about the caps but I truly enjoyed my time with this story. I loved taking my time learning about both characters and how they can fit into each other. There is own voices Autism Spectrum Disorders representation but its played into the story unexpectedly and I loved it very much. There was so much that I was able to highlight because the words that were presented from both perspectives were items I was able to relate to and many people can when it comes to finding yourself and trying to become independent along with trying to navigate boundaries and falling in love. The only aspect that I wished was explored more were both of main characters’ pasts. I think it would have made this book a lot more profound and I would have loved it even more. Because of these points, I have to give this a 4.5 out of 5 stars or 5 sushi 🍣🍣🍣🍣🍣. This comes out on March 9th so check it out 🙂.
The Week Ahead
When it comes to the week ahead, my boyfriend has decided I need to read 100 books/manga this year instead of 30 (it is doable but its just interesting he wanted to up it). However, I also want to watch things more too especially with all of the streaming services I have available to me now. What about you guys? What did you watch/read this week? Let’s talk about it!
