Hey guys today is my weekly check in I apologize I am still trying to settle into a routine because of varying circumstances but lately I have read a lot. I finished two books I have read three volumes of manga and I started a manga and one ebook. I also continued watching the shows I discussed last week but have not finished yet so we won’t discuss them this week. Onto the books!

Overall, I still love this series, I enjoy the world and the characters. I am truly excited to see how the ending of this story turns out. Because of these points I have to give this a 4 out of 5 stars or 4 sushi 🍣🍣🍣🍣
Recommended For You
This book has a lot going on as far as plot and characters. Characters from all different walks of life and several mini plots that occur throughout the story. Overall, this book is fantastic for the holiday season as well as for book lovers wanting to work at a bookstore. It is definitely great starter rom-com for younger audiences but also fun for older audiences. It can be a tad cheesy though so keep that in mind. Because of these points, I have to give this a 4 out of 5 stars or 4 sushi 🍣🍣🍣🍣

Anonymous Noise Vol 1
I’ll be honest, this manga volume gives me similar love to the anime (which is a good thing). In addition, I feel that this is a fantastic companion to it in the sense of you get to see more of the internal struggle between all of the characters not just the main character. Because of these points, I have to give this a 4 out of 5 stars or 4 sushi 🍣🍣🍣🍣
Story of Saiunkoku vol 7 and 8
I love the political intrigue that occurs in these two volumes and I love the characters. If you’re interested in feminism + political intrigue and Asian fantasy this manga series is for you. My only issue with these volumes is that they are word for word the anime; which is great if this is your only option, but for someone who loves what extra items manga can present, you can be bored at times. Because of these points, I gave these volumes 3.5-4 out of 5 stars or 3.5-4 sushi 🍣🍣🍣🍣

Instant Karma
I know I’m relatively new to this particular platform but I am a big fan of Marissa Meyer; Her Lunar chronicles series, Her Renegades series, Heartless, and now this book although according to my kindle I am only 5% in but it’s been fun so far its definitely a summer read which is great for right now but it’s a tad slowgoing so far. I hope I can finish it next week.
Manga I Started
Tokyo Mew Mew Omnibus 1
My on the go book this week since finishing A Heart so Fierce and Broken has been Tokyo Mew Mew Omnibus I which has been interesting because this was my first anime I ever watched and I remember when I was in middle school seeing this being read by my classmates and wanting to read it now I can! Especially since the reboot of the anime is going to come out soon. I am enjoying it so far with the fluffiness + magical girl fun.
The Week Ahead
I will probably continue the book and manga that I started plus continue watching the shows that I am watching with my parents, my friend and my boyfriend.
